Custom work. Clear expectations.
Here’s how changes, production issues and refunds are handled.
Custom products cannot be resold. Approved artwork and specifications matter.
Send your order details and clear photos so we can investigate properly.
Reprints, replacements or refunds as appropriate. Your legal rights stay in place.
Custom-printed, personalized, made-to-order and print-on-demand products are made for your order. They cannot be returned or exchanged simply because you change your mind, no longer need them, ordered too many, or prefer a different design, size, material or finish after approval.
This includes business cards, marketing materials, signage, packaging, printed apparel and custom 3D pieces. For ready-made, non-personalized products, change-of-mind returns are available only when the product listing or written order terms expressly offer them.
Final sale does not remove your rights if we supply defective, damaged, incorrect or materially misdescribed goods. Any return right required by applicable law still applies.
Email us as soon as you need to cancel or change an order. A request is not confirmation that production has stopped. We will confirm what can still be changed and any resulting cost before proceeding.
These conditions do not restrict cancellations or full refunds required by law, including qualifying shipment delays or our inability to fulfill an order. We do not retain payment for unperformed work where a refund is legally required.
Check every detail before approving artwork or authorizing us to print your supplied file. Approval covers the content, selected specifications and visible layout of that version.
Errors present in customer-supplied or approved artwork are not a production defect when the finished order accurately follows that approval. Reprints or changes for those errors are chargeable. A prepress check does not include proofreading or a guarantee that every artwork issue will be detected.
We remain responsible for errors we introduce after approval or for producing an order that materially differs from the approved specifications.
A screen preview is not an exact physical color or texture sample. RGB displays, CMYK printing, paper, coatings, foil, lighting and different production runs can produce visible differences.
Minor variation in color, trim, registration, folds, coating, foil placement and material appearance is not a defect when it falls within the tolerances disclosed for that product and does not materially affect the approved result or intended use. Natural papers can have visible fibers and color variation.
If a precise match, critical alignment, finish sample or repeat-run match is essential, request written specifications and any available physical proof before production. This section does not excuse substantial defects, the wrong material, missing quantities or a departure from what we agreed to supply.
Apparel: approve the garment, size chart, colors and print placement. Choosing the wrong size or changing your mind about an approved design is not a defect. Damage caused by incorrect washing, drying, ironing, wear or other misuse is not covered. We will review wrong garments or sizes that we supplied contrary to the approved order.
3D products: normal layer lines, small seams, support-removal marks and material variation may be part of the disclosed printing process. They are not defects by themselves. Breakage, missing parts or dimensions outside the agreed specifications can qualify for a remedy.
Confirm fit, dimensions, material and intended use before approving a custom 3D object. Damage from misuse, unauthorized modification, incompatible installation or exposure beyond the material’s disclosed limits is not a manufacturing defect. Nothing here excludes a non-waivable product-safety obligation.
Design, layout, file correction and artwork preparation are separate paid services unless the order expressly includes them. The scope, fee, deliverables and included revisions must be agreed before work begins.
A change of direction, new content, extra format or additional revision outside the approved scope may carry an additional fee, which must be accepted before that work proceeds.
If you cancel after authorized design work begins, completed work may remain payable where permitted by law. A design fee is not automatically nonrefundable merely because it was paid: unperformed work, services that do not meet the agreed scope, and legally required remedies are reviewed separately. Approval of a design does not make unrelated print defects your responsibility.
Provide a complete and correct delivery address and tell us about any access restrictions. Customer-requested address changes, redelivery or replacement caused by an incorrect address may involve additional costs disclosed before they are charged.
Production and carrier transit are separate. Dates are estimates unless a specific guarantee is agreed in writing. Late artwork, delayed approval, missing information or an accepted order change can affect the schedule; we will communicate revised timing.
If we cannot ship within the promised timeframe, we will give the notices, cancellation options and refunds required by applicable law. If no shipment timeframe was stated, applicable shipment rules still apply. A rush-production fee does not guarantee a carrier’s delivery date unless the order expressly says so.
For transit damage, missing parcels or a delivery scan you dispute, contact us promptly. Keep the packaging and shipping label while we investigate. Carrier delays, severe weather, supplier interruptions and other events outside reasonable control do not remove legally required shipment or refund rights, and a carrier scan does not automatically settle a claim.
Email support@printsamurai.com with your order number, the email used for the order and a clear description of the issue.
This reporting request is not a cutoff for rights or remedies that applicable law gives you for a longer period. We may reasonably request more information or product samples to verify a claim. Keep the remaining items available; avoid using or disposing of the affected goods while a return or inspection is being arranged.
Contact us before sending anything back. We will provide return instructions and an address if an inspection or return is needed. Do not send goods to a production partner, supplier or an address found on a package without our instructions.
For a verified error or defect attributable to us, we may arrange a timely repair, reprint or replacement of the affected goods. Where that is not a suitable or available remedy, or where the law requires it, we will provide the appropriate partial or full refund. We do not require you to accept store credit in place of a legally required refund.
A remedy ordinarily covers the affected portion of the order; where the issue undermines the whole order or applicable law requires more, the remedy will reflect that. A return without prior instructions does not by itself cancel a statutory right, but may make inspection and routing more difficult.
Please contact us so we can try to resolve a problem. You retain any lawful payment-dispute rights. We may provide accurate order, approval and delivery records when responding to a dispute; we will not issue duplicate refunds for the same amount already recovered.
You are responsible for having permission to use and reproduce the logos, images, fonts, trademarks, designs and other content you provide. Production of a file does not grant you rights belonging to someone else.
We may decline or pause an order involving suspected infringement, unlawful content, fraud or unauthorized payment while we seek clarification. If we decline or cancel an order, any refundable balance will be returned under the agreed scope and applicable law.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, our responsibility for an ordinary product-quality claim is limited to an appropriate repair, reprint, replacement or refund for the affected goods and related services. Where lawful, we exclude indirect commercial losses such as lost profits, lost opportunities or costs of an event that an order was intended for.
These limitations do not apply where prohibited, unconscionable or where a limited remedy fails its essential purpose. They do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights concerning personal injury, fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence or mandatory consumer guarantees.
This policy does not waive rights you cannot legally waive. Mandatory law takes priority. Specific written order terms or guarantees we agree with you also remain enforceable; this policy does not erase them.
The version disclosed when you place your order applies to that order, subject to mandatory law and any specific written terms agreed with you. Later updates do not retroactively remove your rights or an existing guarantee.
For a cancellation, delivery issue, return request or question about these terms, contact support@printsamurai.com. Include your order number if you have one.
