Choose the placement first

A small chest mark and a large back print have different jobs. Decide where the main artwork should sit before building the design. Review the placement on the actual garment shape rather than on an empty artboard.

Let the shirt color participate

The garment is part of the palette. Check how the artwork reads against the selected shirt color, especially fine lines and small type. Keep the original artwork available so the print setup can be reviewed.

Think about the size range

One preview does not represent every fit. Share the planned garment sizes and quantities so placement and print dimensions can be discussed. A comfortable layout on one shirt may feel different on another.

Confirm the production direction

The artwork, garment and print method need to work together. Describe the intended use, whether it is team apparel, event merchandise or a small collection. Review the final placement and specifications before production.
